How do you handle downtime during a database migration?

AWS DMS or Azure DMS in continuous replication mode lets us cut over in seconds. For systems that can't tolerate even that, we use dual-writes plus a read-side checksum window.

What about cost overruns post-migration?

Every migration ends with a one-page FinOps review: right-sizing, savings plans, lifecycle policies. Most clients see steady-state cloud spend below their on-prem run-rate within 90 days.

Can you work with our existing cloud team?

Yes — we often act as senior ICs inside an existing platform team rather than replacing it.

Which cloud do you recommend?

Whichever your team can operate. We're AWS-certified and fluent on Azure and GCP. The right answer is almost always 'the one your engineers already know.'
